RFID Access Control + Usage Tracking
Machine Access Device
The IntelliKran Machine Access System gives secure RFID-based machine access and full operational visibility. Every access attempt, including denied attempts, is captured at the machine, synchronized to a local server, and forwarded to cloud services for centralized monitoring, compliance, and fleet-level control.

RFID Access
ISO 14443A RFID authentication with operator UID-level tracking
Local Server
Up to 100 m line-of-sight sync range with expandable multi-server coverage
Cloud Visibility
Machine events forwarded through local server for centralized web monitoring
Audit Ready
Both approved and denied access attempts are logged for accountability
System Overview
- RFID-based access control for industrial machines with both successful and denied scans recorded.
- Machine-to-local-server-to-cloud data path for centralized monitoring and auditing.
- Built to work alongside IntelliKran hoist and crane systems for operator + machine visibility.
- Offline-safe behavior: MA events are retained on-device and synchronized when back in range.
Data Path Architecture
MA device events flow from machine to local server and then to cloud platform. This architecture gives local resilience with centralized visibility for operations and safety teams.

Product Versions
Choose the hardware format that fits your control environment, from integrated radio remote builds to cable-pendant and customized external mounting deployments.
RRC Version (Hetronic Remote)
Built into Hetronic radio remote transmitter housing. User scans an authorized RFID card at the transmitter to enable operation. Scan data is stored on SD and synced to local server (up to 100 m line-of-sight).

Cable Control / Pendant Version
Mounted inside cable controller housings for EOT and gantry applications. Supports 24VDC, 48VAC, 110VAC, and 220VAC variants with the same RFID access and event logging model.

External Mounting Unit
PCB can be customized for external enclosures, existing control panels, and special handheld devices requiring RFID access control and operator logs.
WebApp Capabilities
- Device management with metadata, serial info, location, and online/offline heartbeat status.
- Real-time event streaming for RFID scans with authentication success/failure outcomes.
- Fault alerts for RTC sync, Ethernet, flash storage, ESP-NOW mesh, and Firebase push failures.
- CSV monthly export for access events and compliance/audit reporting.
- Operator profiles with RFID UID, employee serial, and role assignment.
- Operator assignment workflow with pending -> active -> revoke -> revoked lifecycle.
Sync, OTA, and Operations
- Sync manager with MA device queue, stale detection (5-minute threshold), and manual sync trigger.
- OTA firmware pipeline: upload binary, track versions, publish active release, monitor rollout.
- Audit trail for configuration changes with user attribution and timestamped history.
- Role-based data filtering and Firebase-backed auth and encrypted cloud transport.
- Each MA device can update through whichever local server is reachable in larger sites.
