Energy Meter

Schneider Conzerv EM6433H / EM6436H / EM6459H

A family of 3-phase digital energy meters that deliver Class 1.0 and Class 0.5 accuracy across all major power parameters. With native RS-485 Modbus RTU communication and a standard 96 × 96 mm DIN form factor, these meters integrate directly with IntelliKran PLCs to bring energy visibility to any crane or industrial panel.

Features

Complete Energy Visibility in a Standard Panel Format

Full Power Metering

Measures kWh, kVAh, kVARh, kW, kVA, kVAR, voltage (L-N and L-L), current, power factor, and frequency simultaneously across all three phases.

Class 1.0 / 0.5 Accuracy

EM6433H and EM6436H offer Class 1.0 energy accuracy; the EM6459H steps up to Class 0.5 for precision billing and energy audit applications.

RS-485 Modbus RTU

Native RS-485 port connects directly to IntelliKran PLCs and SCADA systems using the industry-standard Modbus RTU protocol. Supports straight-line topology with up to 32 devices per segment.

UL, CE, RCM & EAC Certified

Carries international approvals — UL for North America, CE for Europe, RCM for Australia/New Zealand, and EAC for Eurasian markets — simplifying compliance across regions.

Wide Input Range

Control power accepts 48–277 V AC or DC (±10%), making the meter compatible with virtually all panel supply configurations without an additional power supply.

Compact DIN Panel Mount

Standard 96 × 96 mm front panel footprint fits any IEC 61554 cutout. Minimum side clearance of 28 mm allows meters to be mounted side by side in high-density panels.

Safety & Installation Notes

  • Always turn off power before working on the meter or its wiring.
  • Fuse L1 with a 500 mA fuse. Fuse L2 when connecting an ungrounded neutral.
  • Always use grounded external CTs for current inputs.
  • RS-485 supports straight-line topology only — loop or ring topology is not supported.
  • Use Belden 3105A or 3106A shielded cable for RS-485. Terminate end-of-line with a 120 Ω / 0.5 W resistor.
  • Do not exceed 277 V L-N or 480 V L-L (CAT III) at any input terminal.
  • Apply appropriate PPE and follow NFPA 70E or applicable local electrical safety standards.
